Moza AB9 - MSFS 2024 telemetry issue

Hi folks,

I'm trying to configure Moza Cockpit for MSFS 2024 but i'm getting Telemetry error.

msfs_telemetry_process is opening over 70x in Task manager

I've tried to add exception in Firewall - the same

Runing as admin - the same

Click to Restart - the same

Some sort of FFB is working when i'm flying, i can feel some reactions like ground, gears, flaps, engine rumble and so on but this behaviour of the process is not correct.

I'm on Windows 11 Pro

Moza Cockpit version 1.0.2.11

Regards,

Agrest

I'm have a similar issue. For me it always just says Telemetry Service Disconnected. When I click "Click to Restart" nothing happens. I don't even see any processes running for it. When flying I get no FFB at all.

I'm running version 1.1.1.21 on Win11

Chad, I had the same but resolved it by fully opening MSFS 2024 first and then opening the Moza cockpit afterwards. Do not set Moza Cockpit to automatically open at system startup. Miron, not sure if this will resolve your concerns. I’m a new user to the AB9. On another note, have two Moza AB9 showing up in my MSFS 2024 configuration. It is confusing. Do you have the same?
Liquid error: translation data {:other=>"%{count} 人 "} can not be used with :count => 1. key 'one' is missing.

Any info on this? I have the same problems. Can't get telemetry working and and it also opens 100 telemetry processes.

Jace, that worked. I just shutdown Moza of it is running, start MSFS2024, the start Moza and it connects great. And to your other question, yes I see two entries for the AB9 in the controls configuration. Though both have no labels on them in MSFS. I also see two in DCS, but they are labeled in that sim.
Glad it worked Chad and thanks for the info on controls configuration. I suspect the two profiles are coming from the base and the flightstick. It’s strange that the driver info does not distinguish the two by name. Could become complicated when adding an additional Moza flightstick (MA3X or MH16) to the mix. Tomaz, there are 3 telemetry settings in the cockpit software. Try each of these. I have mine on the middle option. I’m not sure if MSFS 2024 offers native FFB signals so I don’t think the first option works.

Yes i know. MSFS works with telemetry. It's a known bug that will hopfuly be fixed in the next release of cockpit. It just bugs me that i can't get it to connect with any workaround in the meantime.

Also I think a read somewhere that they are looking into removing the second AB9.

Tomaz, in cockpit software, does it say “configured” for you in your game list on the Home Screen? If not, is your program in windows store or steam for you? I’m windows store and can send you my directory locations to see if they match.

The cockpit software does say "configured". The workaround above has given me a working solution.

Yes it's configured. With default folders and then my locations where i found them. I have steam version.

Hi, I have the same problem with the steam version. What I have done so far:

  1. Re-installed the moza cockpit
  2. Tried several releases of the software
  3. Started both as adminstrator
  4. Made an exeption in/out for the telemetry in windows firewall
  5. Started the moza only after MS2024 is running

I have no idea what to test - it is so frustrating. What I recognized is the fact, that the msfs_telemetry_process will start every few seconds and gets terminated as long as MSFS2024 is not runing. As soon as MSFS2024 is running Moza starts the telemetry process in very fast cadence and it sums up to 70 or more instances.

Are there any other tipps, beside starting moza not before MSFS2024 is running?

Is there anyone running it perfectly on steam? Would be great to see the paths in the config. Maybe this is the problem.

Thanks, Andreas

Hi, I cannot get the telemetry connection running. Neither in DCS nor in msfs2024. It shows always telemetry disconnected.

The manual start of msfs2024 telemetry in the moza folder does not work at all.

If I start the helicopter it vibrates, but still shows telemetry disconnected.

In parallel, I am running simshaker with sim connect, which receives data from msfs2024.

I have launched the Cockpit app after the simulator but for me it does not work

Maybe anyone can help me? Thanks
