Moza Air2 Can No Longer Establish a Useful Connection with the Camera

My Moza Air2 still works, albeit with the dreaded SleepMode issue after the firmware upgrade many users on the Internet complain about. With some careful handling and very delicate balancing it can still be used, but unfortunately any connection with a camera (Lumix G85, Canon M50, Canon 5D ii) no longer has any effect. Remote control is not possible, the camera is not recognized. It cannot be the cable, because there are different USB cables for the Lumix and the Canons. Is my Moza Air2 toast already?
